Automatic Edge Banding Machine is used to seal the four edges of gypsum laminated ceiling.
Specific working process is as follow:
1. Boards feeding. There is a baffle plate. The space beneath plate only allow one board to
pass.(Note: if connected with cutting machine, one worker is saved here.)
2. First banding. Two edges are banded. There are special blades for cutting adhesive tape.
The distance of two boards are close , so tape wasting is avoided.
3. Changing direction. When one board goes forth and reaches the turning point, the supporting
frame will go down( there is an electromagnet ), then the board falls on the right- driving conveyor belt.
4. Second banding. The same as step 2.
5. 8 /10 pieces ceiling board are piled.(Note: if connected with automatic packing machine, one
worker is saved here.)
* The whole process is controlled by PLC
*All parameters could be set by PLC. Such as how many pieces board can be stacked as a pile, make an
action of moving,feeding, turning etc.
* There are 10 detectors distributed over this machine to ensure the effective operation and keep the
machinery system getting along well.
